Leeds United have confirmed they expect Neil Kilkenny to leave this summer after he failed to accept their contract offer.
The Australia international is out of contract and Leeds had hoped to secure the ex-Oldham man on fresh terms.
However, Leeds' offer has not been accepted so the club are now planning life without the popular 25-year-old.
The midfielder's exit is the second in the space of as many days after it was revealed Bradley Johnson had Premier League offers and would be moving on.
Manager Simon Grayson was keen to move on from the issue of players out of contract as he plans for a second campaign in the Championship.
"This is another issue we wanted resolving as we have to prepare for next season," he told the club's official website.
"I'm keen to move on so we can plan accordingly in terms of what we have and what we need."
