Jonathan Hogg's agent says the Aston Villa midfielder would be prepared to return to Portsmouth next season.
The 22-year-old made 19 appearances for Pompey during the second half of the season after joining the Championship club on loan in January.
He is under contract at Villa Park until 2013 after securing a new deal last December following his breakthrough into the first-team squad.
However, Hogg's representative Mick McGuire has revealed the player would be open to another spell at Fratton Park next term.
McGuire told The News: "Jonathan enjoyed it so much at Portsmouth and I know the club were impressed with him as an all-round individual as well as a player.
"I think he probably fits their mould in terms of the sort of player who would enhance the club.
"His loan spell at Portsmouth was everything he hoped it would be. He will be considering his future this summer and would never rule out the possibility of returning."
