Skysports.com understands Watford have rejected a bid from West Brom for star striker Danny Graham.
Graham was in superb form for the Hornets this season, bagging an impressive 27 goals from 49 games in all competitions for the Championship outfit.
That form clearly impressed Baggies boss Roy Hodgson who tabled an offer for the 25-year-old, believed to be in the region of £2.5million.
But the Hornets are keen to retain the services of the former Middlesbrough and Carlisle forward and knocked back the offer from the Hawthorns outfit.
West Brom's interest comes in the wake of a rival offer from QPR last week, which was similarly snubbed by the Vicarage Road side.
It now remains to be seen whether either the Baggies or the Rs return with improved offers and how firm Watford's resolve is to keep hold of Graham.
