Skysports.com understands Bury defender Ben Futcher has signed a new deal at Gigg Lane.
The big centre-half has inked a one-year extension to remain with the Gigg Lane outfit.
Futcher's existing deal was due to expire this summer, but the club have moved to keep him for a further 12 months.
The 29-year-old had a spell out on loan at Oxford earlier this season, but he returned in January to help the club win promotion to League One.
Futcher is the second player to pledge his future to the club after fellow defender Efe Sodje agreed a new deal with the Shakers.
