Blackburn Rovers winger David Hoilett has admitted he would like to extend his contract.
The highly-rated Canadian currently has just over 12 months left on his current deal, but he now open to extending his stay.
Following Steve Kean's appointment, Hoilett emerged as a first-team regular and he admits to enjoying life under the Rovers chief.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "My time at the club has changed a lot. I am on the field more and I am enjoying my football.
"Of course when you are not playing and don't know if you are going to come on and get any minutes it is frustrating. Of course you get frustrated, especially as a young kid you want to play.
"Steve Kean has been great for me, I have enjoyed the experience and I am looking forward to pushing on next season.
"Hopefully we will get something sorted (new contract). Of course I am happy with the club, I am enjoying myself and I am happy here."
