Villarreal's Italian striker, Giuseppe Rossi, has admitted moving to Primera Liga champions Barcelona would be a dream summer transfer.
Rossi, 24, has been strongly linked with UEFA Champions League finalists Barcelona in the Spanish media and Villarreal are said to want around €30million (£26m) for their star man.
Italy international Rossi, who joined from Manchester United in the summer of 2007, scored a best ever 18 league goals this season to be Villarreal's top scorer and Barcelona have taken note.
"Playing at Barcelona is every player's dream as they are the best team in the world," Rossi told Catalunya radio station.
"They play pure football with quick passing and win a lot of titles, which every player wants to do."
Tottenham Hotspur wanted to sign Rossi during the January transfer window and manager Juan Carlos Garrido admitted the club would struggle to hold on to the player this summer even though he is contracted until 2016.
"It is logical that Rossi is on the wish list of the big clubs because he is a real star," said Garrido.
"I would understand it if the club accepted his departure if a big offer came in."
