Charlton have made Plymouth midfielder Yannick Bolasie one of their top targets ahead of the new season, skysports.com understands.
The Zimbabwean youngster, who has just turned 22, impressed for the Pilgrims despite their eventual relegation to League Two.
His performances have attracted the interest of a number of clubs, including teams in the Championship, but the Addicks are keen to steal a march on their rivals.
Charlton boss Chris Powell is eager to bolster his squad over the summer and sees Bolasie as an ideal addition.
Bolasie initially joined Plymouth from Floriana FC on a loan deal in August 2007 before making the move permanent the following season.
Following the Pilgrims' relegation, the Home Park outfit are likely to see many of their best players depart for pastures new.
