Yann M'Vila has extended his current deal at Rennes by a year following uncertainty surrounding his future at the club.
Last month it was reported the Ligue 1 side were deciding on whether to cash in on the 20-year-old France international or offer him a new long-term deal.
The defensive midfielder has been linked with Spurs and Aston Villa in the past, while West Brom boss Roy Hodgson is also believed to be an admirer.
But Rennes announced on Monday on their club website that M'Vila has extended his current deal by a year to 2015.
The 20-year-old has been an key player for the side this term, starting 36 top flight games and scoring twice.
The club, who currently sit fifth in the Ligue 1 table with one match to go, are set to play in the Europa League next season.
