Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra would not ignore the opportunity to discuss a transfer to the Premier League.
Championship winners Queens Park Rangers have been linked with the Algeria international, who has just 12 months remaining on his current contract at Ibrox.
And Bougherra has admitted he would be interested in holding talks with an English top-flight side after June's African Nations Cup qualifier against Morocco.
The 28-year-old former Crewe, Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton player said in the Daily Record: "Right now I have this important game in Morocco to play and that is all that is concerning me.
"It's too early to talk about my future as I still belong to Rangers, but if a Premier League club contacts me I will start discussions.
"After the game in Marrakech, my phone will begin to ring."
