Skysports.com understands there is mounting interest in securing the signature of Charlton defender Miguel Llera.

As revealed last month, the Spaniard is set to leave the Addicks when his contract expires at the end of the season.

It is understood SPL outfit Motherwell, along with Tranmere and Scunthorpe, are monitoring developments concerning the central defender, who would be available on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old, who joined Charlton on a free transfer in the summer of 2009 after leaving MK Dons, has struggled to hold down a regular place in the side this term, making just 18 appearances.
