Real Madrid have announced the signing Turkey international Hamit Altintop on a free transfer.
Altintop has signed a four-year deal with the Spanish giants after seeing out his contract at Bayern Munich.
The 28-year-old becomes Real's second signing of the summer following the arrival of Nuri Sahin from Borussia Dortmund.
Real assistant coach Aitor Karanka believes Altintop will prove a valuable addition to the squad for next season.
"Altintop is an international who comes from a great side: Bayern Munich," said Karanka
"He is a team worker and the sort of player we want.
"We are very happy about the signing and we want to show people why we signed him throughout the coming season."
