Rudi Garcia has dismissed reports claiming Gervinho has already agreed a move away from Lille.
The Ivorian playmaker continues to be linked with a number of sides from across Europe, including a clutch of clubs in the Premier League.
Gervinho has done little to curb the rumours, refusing to commit his future to Lille, but has always maintained that his future will be resolved once the season comes to a close.
With the French top flight not due to shut down until 29th May, he is yet to make any decision on what his next move will be.
That means speculation suggesting he has already sealed a switch elsewhere is wide of the mark.
"Gervinho's departure? Nothing has been done yet," Garcia told L'Equipe.
"I want to keep the best players here."
There has been speculation that Garcia could also be on the move this summer, with Serie A giants Roma said to be keen on taking him to Italy.
The highly-rated 47-year-old has also sought to play down those rumours, insisting he has no intention to leave Lille.
He added: "I will still be Lille coach next season and will continue to give 100 per cent."
