Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman has confirmed he will be offering free agent defender Anthony Gardner a contract.
The former Tottenham and Hull City stopper is a free agent and spent time on loan with the Eagles this season.
Freedman knows Gardner's ability and is prepared to offer terms, although he could not say for certain whether he will get his man.
"I like Anthony, I know what he can do and I would like him here next season," Freedman told the Croydon Advertiser.
"But it's all down to finances. I'll speak to him and we'll know soon after that. It will only take 10 minutes.
"I'll make him an offer and either he accepts it or he doesn't."
