Henri Lansbury has returned to Arsenal vowing to force his way into Arsene Wenger's first-team plans.
The promising midfielder spent the 2010/11 campaign on loan at Championship outfit Norwich and helped them win promotion to the Premier League.
The England U21 international shone during his time at Carrow Road and feels he has benefited greatly from regular games.
He now believes that he is ready to stake a claim for a place in Arsenal's starting XI.
Lansbury has seen fellow youngsters Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey become important parts of the Gunners fold and hopes he can follow their lead.
The 20-year-old told the Official Arsenal Magazine: "I just want to try and force my way into the Arsenal side next season.
"I have to come back raring to go, to be strong and try and take my place.
"I'm ready to prove myself here and show the boss that I'm ready to be in the first team."
