Agent - Juarez could leave

Efrain Juarez's agent has hinted the midfielder's future may lay away from Celtic due to his lack of action.

Mexico international needs to be playing at Parkhead

Efrain Juarez's agent has hinted the midfielder's future may lay away from Celtic after labelling his lack of football as 'not ideal'. The Mexico international began the campaign brightly under manager Neil Lennon, but he has found first-team opportunities hard to come by recently. The 23-year-old has made just five SPL starts and his agent Jorge Berlanga admits the situation is far from ideal as his client needs to be playing. Juarez remains committed to Celtic and wants to stay on the proviso that he is a regular, although Berlanga is not ruling out the possibility of a summer exit.

Activity

"The situation with Efrain is not ideal and there may be some transfer activity over the coming months," explained Berlanga. "Our concern is his continuing development as a player and we will have to decide where the best club is for him to do that. "The transfer market lasts until August 31 so we will see what options he has. However, he is very keen to play for Celtic. "He feels fine physically and has adapted to the country but needs games."
