Stephane Mbia has announced his intention to spend one more year on the books at Marseille.

The Cameroon international sees his future called into question whenever a transfer window rolls around and is once again being linked with a move elsewhere ahead of the summer.

Everton are the latest club to be touted as a possible destination for the highly-rated 24-year-old.

Mbia, though, insists he has no plans to move on any time soon, with it his wish to see out at least one more season at Stade Velordrome.

He said: "My future? We will see what happens at the end of the season.

"A playing career is very short so you have to be careful when making decisions and not always do what the people who look after you tell you to do. They can make wrong decisions.

"I am a Marseillais and I love Marseille. I am proud to be here.

"I have never said that I want to leave Marseille and one more year here would be fantastic."
