Michel Bastos has confirmed that he is still hoping to secure a move to Spain or Italy this summer.
The Lyon winger has been strongly linked with a switch to Serie A giants Juventus for some time, although a deal is yet to be struck.
The Brazil international admits he would relish a transfer to Turin, despite Juve's failure to secure UEFA Champions League qualification.
He has ruled out making a move to the Premier League, but believes the time has come for a new challenge to be taken on.
"I have always tried to improve my game and for that reason the interest from Juventus is very flattering," Bastos told Tuttosport.
"I think for my family the time has arrived for a change and for new things to be experienced.
"But I am aware that I still have two years remaining on my contract at Lyon and I will only move if the deal is good for me and the club.
"Would a lack of Champions League football be an issue? We are still talking about Juve here and I still think the time is right for a change.
"I couldn't imagine myself playing for another club in France so my dream is to go to Italy or Spain.
"England and Germany don't interest me at the moment."
Meanwhile, it appears as though Bafetimbi Gomis' season has been brought to an abrupt halt.
The striker picked up a knee injury in Lyon's 1-1 draw with Brest on Monday and is now a major doubt for their final two fixtures of the campaign.
