Highly-rated playmaker plays down transfer speculation

Andre Ayew claims to be happy at Marseille and wishes to continue his development in France. The Ghana international is reported to be attracting interest from some of Europe's top sides, with Manchester United and Barcelona said to be among his admirers. A summer switch was believed to be on the cards, with the 21-year-old set to generate plenty of transfer gossip once the window reopens. Ayew, though, insists he has no desire to leave Stade Velodrome, with regular football more important to him at the moment than a move to a big club.

Improving

"This has been the first year in which I have had the opportunity to play week in, week out," the talented winger told Marseille's official website. "I am pleased with that, it shows that I have improved a lot. "I love it here. I have won titles here and I really love that. I want that success to continue and I want to work here for longer. "Moving somewhere else is not in my thoughts right now. I want to stay here."
