Skysports.com understands a number of Premier League clubs are eyeing a move for Partizan Belgrade defender Stefan Savic.
The Montonergo international is regarded as one of the best young defenders in Europe after impressing for club and country in the last 12 months.
The 20-year-old came close to a move to Arsenal after impressing Arsene Wenger during a short trial at the North London outfit.
However, the move fell through because of work permit issues and Partizan stole in to sign Savic from BSK Borca.
Savic has established himself as a key member of the Partizan side and has broken into the national team.
His form has attracted interest from a host of clubs across Europe and it has prompted Wenger to rekindle his interest in Savic as he looks to bolster his attacking options.
Tottenham have also been long-term admirers of Savic, while Manchester City have been keeping tabs on the central defender.
Newly-crowned Italian champions AC Milan are also chasing Savic's signature along with Valencia and Sevilla.
A number of clubs are expected to watch Savic in action in this week's Serbian Cup final against Vojvodina Novi Sad.
Partizan are reluctant to lose Savic, but they could find it hard to keep hold of him if any of his suitors make a big-money offer this summer.
