Midfielder admits he is only 80% fit

Everton star Tim Cahill admits he needs a 'massive rest' this summer in order to be fully fit next season. Cahill has been struggling with a foot injury for some time and he was restricted to a bench role for Saturday's 2-1 win over Manchester City. Toffees boss David Moyes has been refusing to take any risks with Cahill's fitness and the Australian admits he needs a rest to recharge his batteries. "I'm happy to be on the bench and coming on because three weeks ago they'd written me off and said my season was over," Cahill told the Liverpool Echo. "Yes, I take a massive risk playing but it's worth it on days like Saturday. "I still feel my foot injury. I'm going to have to get a massive rest in the summer but I want to be a part of these good moments and help make a change. "Maybe sometimes I don't do myself justice playing because people might feel I'm unfit or not moving well, but the matter of the fact is I'm 80% fit."
