Skysports.com understands MK Dons midfielder Peter Leven is set to miss the play-offs through injury.
Leven, who has scored eight goals this season to help the Dons into the top six, suffered a suspected broken foot in training on Thursday.
The former Rangers youngster is set to undergo scans to find out the full extent of the injury, but it is feared Leven's season is over.
The news is a major blow for the Dons as they prepare for the semi-finals of the League One play-offs.
The injury could also mean Leven has played his last game for the club as he is out of contract in the summer and as yet no new deal has been agreed.
