Blackpool defender Ian Evatt is keen to avoid having to go to Old Trafford on the last day of the season needing a win.
The Tangerines are currently outside the Premier League relegation zone but only on goal difference with three matches remaining.
Blackpool travel to Manchester United on 22nd May but before then Ian Holloway's side face fixtures against Tottenham at White Hart Lane and Bolton at home.
Experienced stopper Evatt, 29, is confident the Seasiders can stay up but is wary of the last-day clash with the Red Devils.
"Nobody knows how many points we will need but I believe three more will be enough," he said.
"We will be going for them on Saturday at Tottenham. If we don't get them there, we will be looking at a massive match against Bolton at home.
"We have to win that one really because we don't want to be going to Old Trafford needing a win."
A point at home to Stoke on Saturday kept Blackpool out of the bottom three courtesy of their goal difference, which is just one better than Wigan's.
