Dagenham bracing themselves for bids

A string of Championship clubs are ready to bid for Dagenham & Redbridge's goalscoring midfielder Romain Vincelot, skysports.com understands. The Frenchman joined The Daggers in the summer initially as a full-back but, having been given his chance in midfield, the 25-year-old has emerged as one of the most dangerous midfielders in the division. He has scored 12 goals in total for Dagenham, with seven coming since the turn of the year. A number of clubs were already looking at Vincelot in December but his form has continued to improve and now a move to the Championship in the summer is beckoning. Skysports.com understands that more than half-a-dozen Championship clubs are ready to bid for Vincelot, who has just over 12 months left on his current deal. Burnley, Millwall, Reading, Ipswich and Watford are thought to be amongst the clubs keen on the Frenchman.
