Watford boss Malky Mackay has revealed Ross Jenkins will miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury.
The Hornets are due to face Leicester in the Championship on Monday but Jenkins' absence will provide opportunities for other players.
Jenkins picked up the injury in the game against Leeds which saw him withdrawn after 32 minutes and he has not played since.
Mackay told the Watford Observer: "Ross suffered ankle damage at Leeds and it is certainly going to see him out until at least the Preston game [on 7th May], if not beyond. It is a big blow for us."
Mackay also confirmed Danny Graham would be available for the trip to the East Midlands as he was hurt from the strong challenge he sustained at Barnsley from Jacob Mellis.
"At first glance I would say we have not got any fresh injuries from the Barnsley game. Danny took a heavy knock near the end but it is just a knock," he added.
