Gers hotshot hoping for England move one day

Rangers ace Nikica Jelavic has revealed it is his dream to one day play in the Premier League. The Croatia international has proved a big hit in the SPL this season with 12 league goals from 18 appearances following his Rapid Vienna switch last summer. Jelavic, who cost Gers an estimated £4million, believes he has what it takes to shine in England's top flight and has his sights on joining one of the big boys when he eventually leaves Ibrox.

Thoughts

"At the moment I'm not thinking about England, but I cannot hide the fact that my big wish is to one day play in the Premier League," he told 24sata. "Football is almost the same anywhere and I believe that I would adapt quickly. "But of course I wouldn't go to just any club. I'd only sign for one of the best Premier League clubs."
Target
Jelavic scored in Tuesday's 4-0 demolition job of Dundee United and the 25-year-old is now hoping to find the back of the net in this weekend's mouth-watering Old Firm clash with arch-rivals Celtic. "I live for the next Old Firm game," he continued. "I've already scored against Celtic and that goal won us the Co-operative Insurance Cup. "It was truly special moment for me. I'd like to be the fans' hero once again. I'm in really good form at the moment. I'm scoring goals and everyone speaks highly about me. "I really believe I can lead Rangers to more silverware, this time the SPL title. I'm really happy in Glasgow. I adore the fans. They are great. They even started to sing a song about me."
