The former Kilmarnock and Chesterfield man is out of contract in the summer and could leave the League One club on a free transfer.
Championship duo Doncaster and Scunthorpe are both understood to be interested, while League One high-flyers Huddersfield are also monitoring his situation.
Leven, who signed for MK Dons in the summer of 2008 on a free transfer, has enjoyed another impressive season for the club.
And his availability on a Bosman at the end of the current campaign has seen a number of teams take a firm interest in securing his services.
