Matthew Etherington and Glenn Whelan are relishing Stoke's underdog status as they look forward to the FA Cup final next month.
The Potters will face Manchester City in their first ever FA Cup final on 14th May after thrashing Bolton 5-0 in the semi-final on Sunday.
Etherington sent Tony Pulis' side on their way with the opener, with goals from Robert Huth, Kenwyne Jones and a Jon Walters' brace then completing the rout.
Stoke have been knocked previously for their perceived style of play and Etherington can not now wait to prove their critics wrong once again in the final.
The winger told The Sun: "We scored some great goals.
"We get our knockers but today was our day to prove them wrong.
"We are used to being the underdogs and we'll be the underdogs for the final against Manchester City too.
"Bring it on."
Team-mate Glenn Whelan also believes the Potters will relish being underdogs in the final showpiece.
He told Sky Sports News: "Man City will be favourites but that's the way we like it.
"We're the underdogs and now we'll be coming here looking to get another upset and obviously winning the final will be unbelievable not just for ourselves but for the people of Stoke and all the fans."
