Potters take on Trotters at Wembley this weekend

Jon Walters is desperate to steer Stoke City to their first FA Cup final appearance in the club's history. The Potters have reached the semi-final stage on three previous occasions, but have never made the final in their 148-year history. Bolton Wanderers stand in their way this weekend, the club where Walters started his professional career, and he believes this could be their season to clinch their first piece of silverware since lifting the Auto Windscreens Shield in 2000. "I was at Blackburn first, but Bolton was where I got my first chance to show what I can do in the first-team," he told skysports.com. "It is a great opportunity for us and although Wembley is a strange place to be playing the semi-finals, it is a ground which every player dreams of playing in when they were kids. "We aren't happy with going out in the semis though and we want to go all the way to the final and achieve something this season. "We are in a great position at the moment with this season going to be either a good season or a really good season for us depending on how we finish it. "All the players and staff know that we've got a chance to do something this year and we are all focused on getting to the final first and taking it from there."
