Rotherham United defender Johnny Mullins has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
The 25-year-old centre-half picked up the problem late last week and he missed Saturday's 1-1 draw with Cheltenham.
Mullins has been one of the shining lights in a dismal second half of the campaign for the Millers and caretaker boss Andy Liddell is unsure of the extent of the injury.
"I am not certain on the correct diagnosis but what I can say is that we won't see Johnny for the rest of the season," he said.
"He will require an operation which is quite major and I wouldn't want to speculate on the timescale."
