Leicester are hoping to tie up a new deal with midfielder Andy King as soon as possible.
King has been in impressive form for the Foxes this season and is the club's leading scorer with 14 goals to his name.
Leicester chief executive Lee Hoos hopes contract negotiations with King will be concluded shortly after already resolving the futures of Richie Wellens, Paul Gallagher and Matt Oakley in recent weeks.
"I have one more (contract) on the go but I don't want to comment too much," Hoos told the Leicester Mercury.
"What I will say is that Andy signed a new contract last year to take him up to 2014 anyway. He is a good young player and we want to reward the people who have helped get us in this position.
"That is one we hope to get over the line with soon as well."
