Hull City goalkeeper Matt Duke looks set to be given one last chance to earn a new contract at the KC Stadium.

The 33-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, could start against Swansea next Tuesday with Brad Guzan returning to Aston Villa after Saturday's game against Waford, and Vito Mannone and Mark Oxley both injured.

If Duke was to start against the Swans, it would mark an incredible turnaround in fortunes for him after he spent an unsuccessful loan spell at Derby last month.

Nigel Pearson told the Hull Daily Mail: "We'll just have to see how that one develops.

"We've got Matt Duke back now and hopefully Vito will be available again before the end of the season, but we'll have to be prepared for the fact he might not be."
