Crystal Palace youngster Nathaniel Clyne believes two more Championship wins could be enough to secure their status.
The Eagles boosted their survival prospects by seeing off Barnsley on Saturday, while Sheffield United lost to QPR on Monday night.
The South Londoners are seven points clear of the bottom three with seven league outings left and Clyne believes they are nearly safe.
Palace tackle strugglers Scunthorpe on home soil along with play-off contenders Leeds and Nottingham Forest and he fancies their chances.
"I think a couple of wins and we will be OK," he told the Croydon Guardian.
"We have really good home form and haven't been beaten there in 13 games.
"The away form has not been the best and we haven't won since October but we are keen to change that - it cannot get any worse."
