Leicester have confirmed that striker Martyn Waghorn will miss the rest of the season through injury.
Waghorn injured his hamstring in training on Monday and a scan has revealed a grade two strain.
That will see the 21-year-old former Sunderland player on the sidelines for around eight weeks.
Waghorn has not enjoyed the most prolific of campaigns, managing only four goals in 35 appearances.
But his loss will still be a blow to Foxes manager Sven-Goran Eriksson as he looks to guide his side towards a late push for the play-offs.
