Chelsea loanee Jack Cork is expected to be available for Burnley's promotion charge, according to manager Eddie Howe.
Cork complained of heart palpitations while on duty with England Under-21's at Deepdale on Monday night.
The 22-year-old spent the night in hospital as a precautionary measure before returning to his parent club for an examination from their medical staff.
Howe concedes he will not be able to call on the qualities of the cultured midfielder for Saturday's trip to Ipswich but does expect him to feature for the Clarets soon.
"Jack has gone back to Chelsea for some tests," said Howe.
"We are waiting on that one but we confident it's nothing serious. I think he is feeling better and hopefully they are all positive signs.
"He is doubtful for the weekend. We haven't had it 100 per cent confirmed but the main thing is Jack's health."
