The Ghana international, who featured against England at Wembley on Tuesday night, has established himself as a regular first-choice keeper for the Seasiders this season.

Kingson, who joined Ian Holloway's side from Wigan on a one-year deal last September, is out of contract with the Premier League club in the summer.

The 32-year-old is happy to remain with Pool, but says he will wait until the end of the campaign to speak to the club over a new deal.

He told KickOff.com: "Yes, I would want to stay but I will leave that till when the season is all over.

"It has taken a lot of hard work to get games in the Premiership. It's a tough league to play in but I have dug in well."

Kingson is likely to feature when Pool travel to Fulham on Sunday, when they will look to strengthen their bid for top-flight survival.

Holloway's men currently sit 15th in the table and just a point clear of the drop zone with eight games remaining.
