O'Kelly pleased on-loan attacker has taken his chance
Doncaster Rovers assistant manager Richard O'Kelly says it is 'too early' to discuss a permanent deal for Jason Euell.
Veteran attacker Euell is currently on loan at the Keepmoat Stadium from Blackpool and is due to see out the season with Doncaster.
He has made just three Premier League appearances for Blackpool this season and is out of contract at Bloomfield Road in the summer.
Euell has scored once in four appearances for Doncaster and O'Kelly is simply pleased that the 34-year-old has grasped the opportunity to play first-team football.
"It is too early to talk about it," said O'Kelly in the
Sheffield Star regarding a potential permanent deal.
"Jason is still a Blackpool player and, as far as I know, there haven't been any plans for him to leave Blackpool.
"He wanted to come here in the first place because he likes the way we play and he saw it as an opportunity to get his name out there again.
"In the time he has been with us, I'm sure he will pleased that he has caught the eye of a number of clubs again."
