Former United goalkeeper looking to get back into the game
Barnet manager Martin Allen has hinted Roy Carroll could secure a deal with the club after impressing in a reserve game.
The 33-year-old is a free agent after returning from Odense in Denmark where he revived his career.
He made his name in England with Wigan Athletic before securing a big money move to Manchester United.
However, the Northern Ireland international has struggled to find a team since returning to these shores.
But he looked in fine form on Tuesday afternoon for the Bees as they went down 2-1 to Tottenham reserves and Allen intimated a coaching role could also be a possibility.
"He's a great pro," said Allen. "He did very well in the game and I am looking forward to helping him and him maybe helping us."
