Vokes and Pacheco seal loan moves

Norwich have completed the loan signings of Wolves striker Sam Vokes and Liverpool's Daniel Pacheco. The Canaries announced earlier this week that the pair would arrive at Carrow Road on emergency deals until the end of the season. However, they had to wait for the approval of the Football League and Football Association, which came through before Thursday's 5pm deadline. Spanish playmaker Pacheco, 20, has not featured at Anfield since the arrival of new manager Kenny Dalglish and it has been decided that he would benefit from playing more regularly in the Championship. Wales international Vokes has already had loan spells at Bristol City and Sheffield United this term. Pacheco and Vokes are currently away on international duty but will link up with the Norwich squad next week in time to feature against Scunthorpe. Manager Paul Lambert is delighted to have secured their services, telling his club's official website: "The two of them were desperate to come and play and that was very important to me. "It will give the whole squad a lift."
