Leeds manager Simon Grayson was delighted to add Tottenham youngster Jake Livermore to his squad before the loan deadline.
The Whites boss snapped up the 21-year-old midfielder on Thursday for the remainder of the Championship season.
Livermore has had previous loan spells with Derby, Peterborough and Ipswich and Grayson believes he will be a good addition for the remainder of the season.
Leeds lost 2-0 to Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United last weekend and Grayson was pleased to bolster his numbers ahead of what should be an exciting climax to the season.
Bodies
"We just need as many bodies as possible between now and the end of the season to make sure you're not caught light," he told Sky Sports News.
"Jake's got good experience for a young kid. Tottenham think a lot about him. I've been impressed with what I've seen so far from him this season. I'm delighted that he's come and joined us."
Leeds host sixth-placed Nottingham Forest after the international break and Grayson knows the game could go a long way to deciding whether the club clinch a play-off spot.
"Elland Road has been a good place for us this year, fanatical fans backing us to the limit. Hopefully we can reward them with success," he continued.
"We're both up in the play-off positions trying to cement that position as quickly as possible, still with one eye on automatic promotion like a lot of other teams.
"It's a tough game, but they are all tough now for a number of reasons."
