Greg Halford admits he would be willing to turn his loan stay at Portsmouth from Wolves into a permanent arrangement.
The versatile 26-year-old has spent a large part of the season at Pompey after struggling to make an impression at Wolves since his 2009 arrival from Sunderland.
He has a further year to run on his Molineux contract, but is keen for a deal to be agreed which would allow him to stay at Portsmouth.
"I would definitely like to be a part of things here," he told The News.
"Everyone wants to be in a winning team and we are winning at the moment. We'll have to see what happens with regard to that at the end of the season.
"There hasn't been any conversations really to that extent. I guess it depends on Wolves.
"I still have a year after this one there, so I guess it's down to what they want fee-wise. It's down to whether they want to let me go but it looks like that is more imminent than anything."
