Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi would jump at the chance to join Spanish champions Barcelona in the summer, according to his agent Andrea Pastorello.
Italian international striker Rossi, 24, has been linked with Barcelona in the Spanish media and Pastorello said his client, contracted at Villarreal until 2016, would assess the situation at the end of the season.
"No player would turn down the chance to go there (to Barcelona)," Pastorello told radio channel Mana Mana.
"It is just rumours at the moment as Giuseppe (Rossi) is concentrated on giving his best until the end of the season. After it finishes we will see what happens.
"It is not certain that the player is going to leave as it is possible that Villarreal will play in the Champions League next season."
American-born Rossi came to prominence with Manchester United before joining Villarreal for €10 million in the summer of 2007.
