Bayern Munich have dismissed reports that Arjen Robben will demand a transfer to AC Milan in the summer.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid winger is considered to be one of the best players in Europe after resurrecting his career since moving to the Allianz Arena in 2009.
But it has been suggested that Dutch international Robben has grown disillusioned, despite missing the first half of this season after returning from the World Cup with a torn hamstring.
Bayern were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday by Inter Milan and they are fighting to qualify for the next campaign as they sit fourth in the Bundesliga and 16 points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund.
Serie A table-toppers Milan are thought to want to capitalise on Robben's frustration, but Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: "These rumours are totally unfounded.
"Arjen knows exactly what this club is all about.
"When he was injured for six months he got to see the seriousness and quality that exists at Bayern.
"I've talked to him. This story is completely laughable and exaggerated. Arjen has no intention of leaving."
Robben expressed his bitter disappointment after Bayern's elimination at the hands of Inter Milan by criticising his team-mates.
