Aberdeen manager Craig Brown is crossing his fingers that veteran Paul Hartley will be fit for their Scottish Cup semi-final with Celtic.
The 34-year-old midfielder sustained medial ligament damage in their replay success over St Mirren and went for a scan on Thursday.
It had been thought that Hartley would now definitely miss Dons' semi-final clash with Celtic on the weekend of April 16/17, but Brown remains hopeful.
"Hartley is looking at being out for several weeks and at this stage he is touch and go for the semi-final," Brown told the Press and Journal.
"It is a huge blow for us because he is the captain and a very influential player. We will not give up hope that he can be fit to play against Celtic."
