Hibernian are set to be without keeper Graham Stack for the remainder of the SPL season due to shoulder injury.
The former Plymouth keeper suffered the blow against Hamilton on 1st March and the club have been waiting for the swelling to reduce before booking him for an operation.
Manager Colin Calderwood is unsure how long Stack could be out of action, although he is assuming the 29-year-old is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
"Graham is going to have an operation this week," he told Hibernian TV. "The surgeon wanted the swelling to go down a little bit more before he operated on him.
"We will have to wait until after the operation for a full outcome, but it is obviously a nasty injury and one that will take a while to recover from I would think."
