Birmingham starlet Nathan Redmond is delighted to be involved in the first team and is itching for more chances.
The 17-year-old winger has recently penned a long-term contract and played for over an hour in the weekend's FA Cup defeat to Bolton.
Despite the defeat, Redmond, who replaced Barry Ferguson on the half-hour, was one of the real plus points for Alex McLeish.
And the England youth international clearly does not lack any confidence, saying: "Off the pitch I am a quiet lad but on the pitch I am not fearful.
"I am good at getting at players.
"Not many people in the first team have got the ability to go past people and I am pleased I bring something different.
"Afterwards Paul Robinson said: 'well played and it looks like you have a good career ahead of you'.
"He showed me the respect on the pitch and off the pitch."
