Avram Grant has told Kieron Dyer to prove his fitness after joining Ipswich on loan from West Ham.
The former England international has linked up with the Championship side, where he started his career, on a month-long deal.
However, Grant insists that he remains very much part of his plans at Upton Park and could play again for the Hammers this season.
Dyer has struggled with injuries over the past few years and Grant wants him to find sharpness by playing regularly at Portman Road.
"Kieron Dyer is a very good player," said the Israeli tactician.
"He has been injured and needs to play now.
"Everyone knows him at Ipswich. He will play there for one month and hopefully he will come back fit."
