Skysports.com understands Torquay have signed Dagenham & Redbridge striker Gavin Tomlin on loan.

Gulls boss Paul Buckle has moved to bring Tomlin to Plainmoor on loan until the end of the season as cover for the injured Billy Kee.
Tomlin joined Dagenham from Yeovil last summer and he has made 18 appearances for the League One side.
The 26-year-old is currently down the pecking order at Dagenham and John Still is willing to loan him out.
Tomlin is expected to go straight into the Torquay squad for this weekend's clash with Shrewsbury
