Ipswich have brought former star Kieron Dyer back to the club on loan from West Ham.
Dyer, who started his career at Portman Road, has signed a month-long loan deal with the Championship outfit.
The 32-year-old has endured a miserable time with a series of injury problems in the last few years and has made only 17 starts for West Ham since arriving from Newcastle in the summer of 2007.
Dyer has made 13 appearances for the Hammers this season, but he is well down the pecking order in Avram Grant's plans.
Ipswich boss Paul Jewell has moved for Dyer after losing on-loan star Jimmy Bullard to injury and midfielder David Norris to suspension.
Dyer will go straight into the Ipswich squad for Saturday's trip to promotion hopefuls Leeds.
