Matthew Upson has warned West Ham to guard against a highly-motivated Stoke side on Sunday.
The two sides meet in the quarter-final of the FA Cup having clashed just last weekend in the Premier League.
That particular encounter saw West Ham triumph 3-0 but the England defender knows that result will have no bearing on their cup game.
Stoke have not lost at the Britannia Stadium this year and their supporters are amongst the most vociferous in the country.
And Upson acknowledges that revenge will be at the forefront of their minds after last week's defeat.
"It's going to be a very different game," he said.
"They're going to be really pumped up and come at us.
"It's up to us to deal with that and, again, be brave on the ball and pass the ball and move the ball - I'm really looking forward to it."
