Mark Hughes will not hesitate in selecting injury-plagued Philippe Senderos as the Fulham defender edges ever closer to his debut.
The centre-back has not yet played for the Craven Cottage club's first-team due to the fact that he tore an Achilles tendon less than a week before the start of the season.
But Switzerland international Senderos played an hour in Fulham's reserves in Wednesday's defeat to Reading as he stepped up his recovery process.
The 26-year-old is now on track for a maiden first-team appearance and Hughes is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to call upon the former Arsenal player.
"He's been out for a long time and you get setbacks when you've been out for a significant period," said Fulham's manager.
"Philippe's got a lot of experience and has played at a high level for some time so he understands you go through periods like this.
"He's an outstanding professional and, when his time comes, I'll have no qualms putting him into the team because of his experience and ability."
